    Banana, caramel and chocolate - all in a cupcake!

    This is the first of the ‘dessert’ style cupcakes that I’ve tested this week, the Raspberry Trifle one is next on the list. And it’s different and very good indeed.

    The base is a moist banana bread lightly flavoured with vanilla and then topped with a smooth caramel custard made with fresh eggs and cream, and a heap of dark chocolate curls.

    It really does taste like Banoffee Pie and it definitely needs a plate and fork!
